This month’s theme is Asian Cuisine.
Bee-Bim Bop! (mix-mix rice) is about a Korean American child helping her mother make a Korean rice dish.
Cora Cooks Pancit is a story about Cora acting as her Mama’s assistant chef to cook a traditional Filipino noodle dish.
Shrimp Flavored Crackers – French fries shaped crackers made with fresh flour and ground shrimp. The smell was very strong, but they were tasty.
Seaweed Snacks – Savory roasted Korean seaweed. These were very tasty as well, my daughter loved them!
Hello Panda – A Japanese biscuit consists of small hallow shortbread filled with chocolate. This was our favorite snack in this month’s box! The kids loved them!
Chopstick Helper – This is a great tool to help kids learn how to use chopsticks.
Final Thought: Culture Chest is a great box to teach kids about different cultures. They did a great job with the selection and my kids really enjoyed this month’s box.
