The first look. The theme this month is “Aboriginal Australia”.
Here is the booklet with some facts and instructions for the activities included in the box.
This is the Blueberry lollipop. My kids really enjoyed the lollipop and reading about ant candy.
This is the Boomerang activity. You get to paint your own Boomerang! This set includes the Boomerang, paint, and a paint brush.
This is everything you need for the Aboriginal Art activity. This activity includes Ochre Powder, Spray Bottle, Acrylic Binder, and Art Paper.
Here is a cute Boomerang sticker. My daughter loves to collect stickers so she was happy to add this to her collection.
Here’s a cute comic about this month’s theme.
Here is my daughter’s finished Boomerang! There were samples of designs that you can try on the Boomerang, but my daughter created her own design.
This is the finished Aboriginal Art of my daughters handprints. This kind of worked out for us as you can see. The girls had a lot of fun with this activity, but it did make a mess.
Final Thought: History Unboxed was a fun educational subscription box. I liked that there was some reading material along with the activities to go with the theme.
